ABSORBANT PADS are designed to absorb the excess moisture exuded from fresh foods. Whether you are packaging red meat (eg: beef, lamb), white meat (eg: veal,  pork), seafood (eg fish), poultry (eg: chicken. duck, turkey), fruit or berries, there will be excess moisture that needs to be dealt with - you need a absorbant pad!
The removal of excess moisture not only improves the presentation of the product to consumers but also extends shelf-life and reduces bacterial growth.  Always include an absorbent pad in your packaging.
These pads have proved to retain all the moisture they absorb - even when much greater pressure than would be applied in normal use is applied.
